New Exotic Necrochasm Isn’t Worth The Effort From Destiny

The video review from Planet Destiny power leveling breaks down all of the pros and cons of the Necrochasm. On the positive side, it has the highest attack rating of the game with 339. In spite of its high rate-of-fire, it’s still accurate at medium range thanks in part of the Rangefinder upgrade. Reloads are quick and can be shortened every further with melee attacks thanks to the Cascade perk and the Flared Magwell upgrade. On top of all that, it’s the only assault rifle with arc damage and comes with many perks unlocked right at the outset.

destiny

However, the weapon has some serious downsides as well. Its low magazine size and low impact (damage per round) mean that you’ll need over a magazine to kill a tier 2 enemy. In PvP, you can only get two kills with a magazine if you’re extremely accurate.

The Necrochasm’s collection of perks kind of suck, too. One of its major selling points is supposed to be Cursebringer, which causes Cursed Thralls to blow up when you kill them with a precision shot. However, it’s hard to get precision kills due to the rate of fire. Even if you do, the explosion only happens around 75% of the time, seems to be delayed, and has a small damage radius.

The time investment required to get the gun is absurd, too. First, you need to get a Husk of the Pit auto rifle off a Blade of Crota on Earth or the Moon and then fully upgrade it. Then you have to change the weapon into the Legendary Eidolon Ally by purchasing an Embalming Orb from Eris Morn after you hit Reputation 3 with her. After that, you have to fully deck out your Eidolon Ally before you can even consider getting Necrochasm.

You’re still not done, though. You then have to get an item called Crux of Crota by finishing the Crota’s End raid on hard mode. Planet Destiny says you can only get this item by skipping hard mode and beating normal first. Furthermore, you need to own the Glowhoo Shader, another drop from Crota’s End hard mode. The Crux of Crota isn’t a guaranteed drop so you may need to beat Crota’s End hard mode multiple times to get it. That’s a hell of a grind to get an auto rifle that’s only decent at best.

“The perks on the Necrochasm just don’t feel exotic; it’s hardly better than an Eidolon Ally. Cascade will help in a few instances, Cursebringer will only help in pve, and the rest just don’t make the weapon powerful enough to warrant practical use,” the review concludes.

Odds are you won’t be using it all that long, either. Second expansion pack The House of Wolves is supposedly coming in March and will bring even more powerful guns. Necrochasm, like Vex Mythoclast, likely won’t get attack damage buffs to be competitive with these new additions. It’ll be a relic taking up space in your Vault. Granted, we might have plenty more Vault space soon but I think players expect more than a souvenir for all the hard work they’ve put into The Dark Below’s content.

Game-Breaking Heavy Ammo Bug Due For A Fix In February From Destiny

Destiny‘s most frustrating bug is finally going to be fixed in February 2015. Going all the way back to the game’s launch, player have encountered an ongoing bug where reserve ammo mysteriously disappears. It happens after cutscenes, when you head to orbit, and every time you die. Bungie’s acknowledged the existence of the bug in the past, but the studio’s latest weekly update promises a fix in the near future.

destiny

While the bug affects all three types of ammo in the game, it’s most impactful with heavy weapons. Their purple ammo drops are a rare sight and, more than that, there’s a high cost attached to purchasing heavy ammo packs. Even when you use one of your precious packs — they’re frequently useful during Destiny power leveling dangerous raids — you always risk losing the ammo you get before you’ve even had a chance to fire off a shot.

While the problem seems simple, it’s actually very complicated, according to Bungie. Sandbox engineer Jon Cable is part of a team tasked with finding and squashing these bugs, and he offers some explanation of this issue’s complexity in Bungie’ post.

Skip ►muted
Cable starts out by explaining how the ammo disappears in the first place. The game’s inventory system creates a character’s weapons whenever they spawn or respawn, including the amount of ammo they had prior to death. The issue comes up when a piece of armor has a perk that boosts the total capacity of one ammo type or another.

It comes down to math. When the game calculates reserve ammo on a respawn, it does so before it factors in ammo boosts from armor perks. Destiny‘s inventory system uses fractions to calculate ammo totals, so when the pre-armor perk fraction is applied alongside the post-perk fraction, you end up with less ammo.

That explains why the bug happens — and it’s something both Bungie and players alike have known for some time — but Cable goes on to explain why it’s been so tricky to address. “This bug was mainly risky because it was at the intersection of a lot of different systems – player profiles, investment, sandbox, perks, and weapon management,” he said.

“There are a lot of weapon and armor perks in the game. Changing the order of how they are applied has a huge impact. It would have required a large restructuring of the way the game works to even accomplish this, because the armor perks can’t take effect until the weapon is created anyway. The application of armor perks would have to be inserted in between weapon creation and the rest of the weapon setup code.”

The chat with Cable concludes on a positive note. He’s formulated a fix, and one that doesn’t appear to break the game in other ways (which was a problem on the first few attempts). Now it’s just a matter of waiting for the patch to be written and deployed. According to Bungie, that will happen “before the end of February.”

Bungie Has Acknowledged This Error Both On Twitter And On Its Website

Destiny players on PlayStation and Xbox consoles began experiencing problems connecting to the game’s servers on Wednesday. Interestingly, the one common feature between all reports from players in the United States is that they are Comcast internet users.

destiny

Reports began coming in on Reddit and Twitter of players receiving the “Cattle” and “Banjo” errors when trying to connect to Destiny. Destiny power leveling will give you help.

Both the “Cattle” and “Bando” error descriptions state “If you are seeing this message, you are having trouble connecting to or maintaining a connection to Destiny matchmaking servers.”

destiny

There’s no immediate fix to either of these connection problems due to the fact that it is a network error and not something wrong with your router or modem.

“We are actively investigating issues impacting players’ ability to sign in to Destiny on all platforms. Until resolved, players may experience disconnects or be unable to sign in,” the message reads.

The one common factor in players not being able to connect is a Comcast internet subscription. The Destiny subreddit is full of one user after another stating their location and internet provider that are unable to connect. They are all Comcast subscribers in the United States.

Destiny: 2014’s best-selling PlayStation 4 game on the PlayStation Network

While the PS4 Top Ten was dominated by blockbusters – Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, The Last of Us Remastered and Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor among them – the PS3 rankings saw the addition of more niche titles, including post-apocalyptic animal simulation oddity Tokyo Jungle, which outsold games including Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes and South Park: The Stick of Truth.

destiny

Destiny  power leveling  recreated its success over in the Add-On charts, with the title’s Expansion Pass taking the Number One spot for PS4. Its first full expansion, The Dark Below, placed fourth. Extra content for Battlefield and Call of Duty rounded out the Top Five.

Meanwhile, on PS3, past iterations in the Call of Duty series filled the rankings, with packs for 2012’s Black Ops II and 2013’s Ghosts occupying all places bar one. Story-driven expansion Left Behind for The Last of Us plugged the gap at number three.

Shrinking down to the Vita handheld, the chart appears to reveal the console’s strength as a platform for more niche titles. Japanese RPG Sword Art Online -Hollow Fragment- was the top-selling game for the whole of 2014, placing ahead of the portable version of Minecraft.

The PlayStation Store also plays host to a collection of Sony’s past hits, in the form of PlayStation and PS2 ‘Classics’.

In a year ripe with Grand Theft Auto V news, it is perhaps no surprise that Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas was the most popular throwback title. Rockstar’s 2004 crime opus was followed by a trilogy of past Naughty Dog titles – Crash Bandicoot, Crash Bandicoot 2 and Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped.

The ever-popular epic RPG Final Fantasy VII placed ninth, with a remastered version of the game announced for PS4 at Sony’s PlayStation Experience event.

Destiny Have Revealed Some Of The Plans For The New Hard Mode Setting

DESTINY raid, Crota’s End has been completed more than a million times by fans and Bungie have revealed some of the plans for the new Hard Mode setting. Destiny power leveling will have more information for you.

Destiny

The Dark Below content didn’t come with the higher difficulty setting from the start like the Vault of Glass, but Bungie have confirmed they are now putting the finishing touches to it.

A separate patch has also been put together by the dev team which will be ready for deployment as early as next Tuesday, January 13.

The new patch is set to end some of the known exploits that players have found in Crota’s End, mainly ways to bypass huge swathes of the map.

A statement from Bungie explains: “Hard Mode for Crota’s End is going through the final few stages of deployment. It’s almost ready.

“As soon as we have a concrete date to share, we’ll set it in stone so you can assemble your crew for that first run, or so you can find the time to tune into the streams and vicariously witness the madness and make note of the new and necessary strategy updates.

“We’re not going to spoil any hard mode surprises here. You’ll need to learn a new trick or two, but given your past performances, we’re pretty sure plenty of you will find a way to come out on top and earn some shiny new trophies to take with you on your next adventure.”

Destiny Patch Notes Listed And Hard Mode Coming

Bungie is preparing a new Destiny update that will remove many of the tricks and exploits found in its expansion, The Dark Below.

Specifically, players have discovered numerous ways to circumvent whole sections of the map on the Crota’s End raid mission. The patch, which is scheduled to deploy on January 13, is expected to plug these known exploits.

Meanwhile, Bungie said that a Hard Mode for Crota’s End is in the final stages of development, and will come packaged in a subsequent update.

“We’re not going to spoil any hard mode surprises here,” the studio wrote on an official blog post.

“You’ll need to learn a new trick or two, but given your past performances, we’re pretty sure plenty of you will find a way to come out on top and earn some shiny new trophies to take with you on your next adventure.”

The Patch also fixes an error in the Vault of Glass raid, where players at level 32 would find they were no longer awarded Exotic items.

Bungie also said that its Iron Banner multiplayer event will return on January 13 and run for a whole week.

Destiny Players Have Begun Receiving The “Unknown Benefactor” Gifts

Destiny players have begun receiving the “small, but Legendary” gifts promised by developer Bungie earlier this week. What did the random item generator deliver to your mailbox?

destiny

While my own Destiny disc has mysteriously disappeared, Kirk Hamilton was able to hop onto the game, plunge his thumb into the Postmaster’s box and pull out one of these:

A quick trip through the Destiny forums shows players opening up shiny new Badgers, Secret Handshakes, Red Deaths and One Way Tickets. Some are outfitted with some cool upgrades, others are instantly turned into scrap.

Sounds like a bonus for less frequent players like myself, while the more experienced have a better chance of getting rocks in their stockings. Destiny power leveling has more experience helping you play better games.

What did you get from Santa Postmaster?

Legendary Gift That Bungie Promised For All ‘Destiny’ Players

Rare weapons, sent by an “unknown benefactor,” begin to arrive at Postmaster.

The legendary gift that Bungie promised for all Destiny players has now been delivered to the in-game postmaster.

Players have begun to find in their mail a random legendary weapon, sent by an “unknown benefactor.” Collected reports from players on Reddit suggests that the special gift can either be a primary, secondary, or heavy weapon.

Gifts are handed out on a one-per-account basis, meaning that players with multiple characters will need to think carefully about who should receive the gift.

Bungie announced this week that it was handing out special random gifts to all its players as a “token of gratitude.” Destiny power leveling also has a gift for youBungie said it was “sure some gifts will be swiftly dismantled,” allowing players to use the gift for Ascendent materials if they wish.

Legendary Musician Appears On Jon Stewart’s Show To Talk About His New Song: “Hope for the Future”

Paul McCartney Recorded a Song for ‘Destiny’ Video Game to Impress Grandkids.

December 17 2014, 10:05 AM ET
The legendary Paul McCartney stopped by the Daily Show on Tuesday to talk about the decent (if super cheesy,) song he wrote for the new video game, Destiny. Destiny-Store.com is just this kind of store, which provide Destiny Power leveling product to make you upgrade lv32 fast and easily. The pair talked about “Hope For the Future,” and why it made sense for the former Beatle to write a song for the game, given the blockbuster nature of the industry today.
McCartney, however, said he was a terrible gamer, because as he explained to the host, “they’re shooting at me, Jon!” Stewart knew the feeling well, noting that it’s really all about trying to make your kids and grandkids think you’re cool. His kids, for instance, wish their dad could do a show more like Ellen. McCartney, jokingly agreed. Watch the interview above.
