It’s not hard to imagine that Square Enix has been working on a patch, in order to get a better performance and visuals on the PlayStation 4 Pro version of Final Fantasy XIV. Regarding the update of Final Fantasy XIV, and it will launch alongside the expansion of the game, it will include 2 modes.

Note, for Final Fantasy XIV update 4.0, and it will be probably dropping just prior to the Stormblood Expansion.
