FFXIV Eureka – One Of The Most Anticipated Features Of Stormblood

After a lot of waiting, it’s finally here. Eureka, one of the most anticipated features of Stormblood, was launched last Tuesday, and we can safely say that we have never seen such a thing in FFXIV. In many ways, it is its greatest strength, but also its greatest weakness. Every person has a different opinion about Eureka, but I think one thing they can all agree on is that it’s very controversial.

FF-XIV

What exactly is it?

Eureka is simply an instanced area filled with several mobs. Players here will have a different kind of experience than the rest of the game, which will increase their “elemental level”, and this simply indicates your strength. Mobs have elemental attacks and resistances, and the player can change his element depending on which mob he is facing.

Once you land on the island, you will feel very weak. This simply because things in Eureka do a lot of damage and have a lot of HP. If you kill local creatures, you will have the opportunity to drop a protean crystal, which can be exchanged for rewards, armor and weapons of this expansion.

Think of Eureka as a hybrid between Diadem and Palace of the Dead: An island with a separate levelling system, strong enough enemies requiring a party, and a whole new environment to explore. Eureka is definitely one of the most beautiful visual experiences of the game.

So are you making mobs for the crystals?

Virtually yes. You will need really many crystals for the complete set of relic, and at least at the beginning, you will not see many droppings. I am led to believe that climbing the level is easier to find the crystals, but it is only one of my hypothesis then take it with the springs.

It sounds simple, and it is, but all this is complicated by the fact that some mobs have certain spawn conditions. You will often hear people talking about how long ago Panzuzu has spawned, a piece of furniture needed for the final stage of the relic, or what time it will take in an hour since that also influences whether it can be spawned or not.

If it seems like a very old school thing, it’s just because it is. The level cap is 20, but it takes a long time to get to 2 only, and once you get past level 5 you can lose EXP when you die if nobody resurrects you. In fact, you will lose 25% of the level, which is certainly not cheap. Once you have passed level 10, you can also level up.

What do I think?

I really do not know. I’m really trying to get an idea of Eureka but I still could not. You could be reductive by saying that it’s just an endless farm, or exaggerating that it’s Final Fanstasy’s answer to Monster Hunter World. The truth is often found in the middle, and probably the opinion that many of you will do will remain purely subjective.

I personally find myself in that phase of my life where a grind in old-school style does not attract me anymore. Spending hours killing mobs to get rewards that I could or could not get, I do not enjoy myself anymore especially now that I have little time to devote to games. Probably if I were the same person as when I played Aion, when for the Miragent quest I found myself farming for a week almost 24 hours, I would love Eureka, but right now it’s definitely not for me.

However, regardless of my personal tastes, it’s nice to see something that manages to divide people’s oppression. Eureka is unlike anything seen so far, it is not yet another raid or dungeon and could really become something special.

My fear is the numbers that will be collected by Square Enix because of all the people who will participate in Eureka only for the relics, without really enjoying the contents. So the risk is that Eureka will be evaluated exclusively on these numbers, when in reality there would be other lessons to be learned.

This is my advice if you play FFXIV: Try Eureka, and do it with friends. Do not be scared by what people say on the forums or in the game chat. Ignore these people who say it is the worst thing that happened to humanity after the plague, or those who claim it to be a brilliant thing. Simply try it and get your idea. Perhaps you will love her, or maybe not. They are personal tastes, so the only way to really know whether you like it or not is to give it a chance.

A big update for Final Fantasy players! This is quite exciting! The new content will be available within a few days, so just seize the limited time and gather enough money and necessary gears and players ahead. If you need gils in game, you can buy cheap FFXIV Gil on FFXIV4GIL.

Final Fantasy XIV Patch 4.25 Contains Forbidden Land of Eureka

On March 13th the FINAL FANTASY XIV: Stormblood saga will continue with the release of patch 4.25, which contains the wild Forbidden Land of Eureka. This region will include new battle elements that will challenge players and will be critical to obtaining very powerful new weapons. This update will also include the last chapter of the adventures of the extraordinary inspector Hildibrand.

Eureka Anemos1

Forbidden Land of Eureka will be a vast and unexplored area that will introduce a series of changes to the usual gameplay:

A large-scale gaming experience: Up to 144 players can take part in a single instance. We encourage players to team up with other adventurers to drive infamous monsters and complete common goals.

Players’ progression: Players will get Elemental EXP to reinforce their domain of elements and can also use the new “Magic Board” feature to customize their elemental affinities, which will help them explore Eureka.

Modified battle mechanics: From now on you will need more strategy to dominate a system of elements with which players will have to use “Magic Board” to alter the elemental affinity of their attack and counter that of the enemy. Players will customize the elemental attributes of their “Magic Board” before the exploration thanks to a “Magic Melder” and will have to study them very well depending on the objective of the adventure.

Rewards: Players will occasionally get “protean crystals” by exploring Eureka and can use them to improve Eureka equipment and weapons with the help of the famous blacksmith Allag. Also, a easy way for you to gain FFXIV money fast is to buy cheap FFXIV Gil on FFXIV4GIL. Something About Final Fantasy XIV You Should Comprehend

Recently, a lot of games appeared in the market, and one of them named Final Fantasy XIV is seemly in a dominate position. Next, I will show you something about the fantastic game.
Final Fantasy XIV is the fourteenth game in the Final Fantasy series and the second after Final Fantasy XI to be a massively multiplayer online role-playing game. The game was developed and published by Square Enix, and is available in four languages; Japanese, English, French, and German.
The game released online first from September 30, 2010 to November 11, 2012. It received widespread negative reception when it was first launched. The gameplayers can acquire their own ffxiv gil in the game.
In response to the heavy criticism of the game’s quality, Square Enix redesigned both the development team and the game. The original version of the game was ceremoniously concluded with a virtual extinction event.
Final Fantasy XIV appeared just before the Seventh Umbral Era. Players create and customize avatars who participate in the affairs surrounding the impending invasion by the Garlean Empire and its relationship to Dalamud’s descent. The various nation states of Eorzea reestablish their Grand Companies and form an alliance to prepare for the coming war with the Empire.
A Realm Reborn’s alpha testing cycle began on October 29, 2012. After a promotionally priced two-day “Early Access” period, the game went live via all normal retail channels. The relaunch has carried over the original game’s setting, lore and intended story, but incorporate a new client, graphics engine, server and data structures, a revamped interface, redesigned maps, more gameplay variations and additional story content.

Final Fantasy XIV tops 1.5M registered users

Final Fantasy XIV is going strong even with the subscription-only model, topping 1,500,000 registered users this week according to Famitsu. Of course, “registered user” is a murky term that may or may not apply to active players, but it’s still a figure worth noting.
The reborn title also is in the midst of its All Saints’ Wake in-game holiday. Check out the website’s lore for the event, and then head in-game to speak to a member of one of the shifty traveling troupes to get a special quest during this spooky time of year. All Saints’ Wake will continue until November 1st, and our own Eliot will be talking about it in-depth in his column tomorrow.
Why must they always post registered users? That doesn’t say how many of them bought the game, unless that’s what registered users is supposed to mean.  For all we know, registered users could just be the people who created Square Enix accounts for FFXIV.
Still, good for FFXIV.  Maybe it’ll be able to help make a comeback with the subscription market. Registered larger population base, on the other hand can also react in a favorable Final Fantasy XIV environment, it’s like ten people if there is a good man, then there will be one hundred one thousand people, I am I do not know you understand metaphor

Future Prospects for Final Fantasy XIV

Some of these issues probably just come down to the fact that we did just get a whole new version of the game less than two months ago, and the development team had only so much time to add new stuff to the game with the first patch containing a huge pile of stuff. So this was always going to be a little bit of a wash; there’s only so much you can do.
Part of the problem, though, is a lack of ambition. The holiday events are structured so that no one winds up needing to go out of the way to try something, and the whole thing is accessible as long as you’ve hit level 15 on one job (something that is about as challenging as falling asleep on NyQuil). And while accessibility is nice, it’s not the only thing that matters.
I’ve stated that I like Final Fantasy XIV’s current endgame, and I do, but part of the fun of holiday events is that you have something to pull in a different direction for a little while. Spice up an FFXIV Gil old dungeon or two; give us something new to deal with. Haukke Manor could hold an optional boss with minimal effort; it fits with the holiday, and because of how level sync works, it could legitimately be done with almost any setup of players. Or even just a roaming set of FATEs, something to chase — give us something to keep our interest beyond the first few moments of the holiday.
The team on the game is fully capable of making some engaging diversions. Let’s, you know, actually have a few.

Witness the epic rebirth of Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn.

Witness the epic rebirth of one of the biggest RPG franchises in history as Square Enix release Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. Final Fantasy XIV originally released 3 years ago but despite the popularity of the Final Fantasy franchise, the game was considered a failure by developers, players and critics. Since that time Square Enix have taken the game offline and spent 3 years developing it’s rebirth in Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. The game launched in late August and despite some typical launch day woes, players and critics welcomed the latest MMO adaptation with welcome arms.
Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn is arguably one of the biggest MMO projects to grace the online world today. It’s filled with innovation, unique features and tons of side content. One of the most popular features of the game is the FATE system. FATE quests are dynamic events that occur Final Fantasy XIV Gil randomly throughout Eorzea. As players participate in their regular daily activities they can encounter special events that require collaboration with other players in order to succeed. Imagine exploring the fantastical world of Eorzea as a giant Malboro attacks a nearby settlement, forcing players to respond as they combine arms to defeat a serious threat. These are FATE quests.
Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn also utilizes a similar class system to that in Final Fantasy XI. Players are able to select a class during character creation but are free to change once they reach a certain level, even combining the abilities from two different classes to create their own unique mix. This unique feature spreads further into the combat system, offering players one of the most interactive features seen in an MMO game.
Players are able to activate abilities in quick succession to utilize additional effects, damage and other bonuses. This puts players in control of the combat, rather than mindlessly activating abilities with no thought other than maximum damage. Limit Breaks also make a return as groups of players can accumulate damage to activate a massive Limit Break capable of deal devastating damage and adding awesome status effects.

Diablo 3 patch caused a loss

Blizzard have announced that they have just closed down the Diablo 3 Auction House due to a game breaking exploit that appeared following the 1.08 patch. The patch went live on Tuesday but it took eagle eyed players only a few hours to discover an exploit, one so bad that is has almost totally destroyed the in-game economy.
According to an official post on Battle-net many players have earned billions of gold with one individual managing to collect over 300 trillion gold. The exploit was first discovered FFXIV Gil on Twitch as an individual streamed the exploit and gave thousands the tools they needed to totally destroy the economy. Yet another hole in the sinking ship that is Diablo 3.
Blizzard revealed that a Diablo III exploit all but destroyed the economy after the latest patch. It gave players the opportunity to earn millions of gold and basically exploit the economy to make tons of real cash. The unique auction house in Diablo III allows players to sell in-game items for cash and other items, meaning the players that abused the exploit could easily turn a huge profit from doing so.
Blizzard have announced that all of the proceeds and revenue from the exploit, that has now been fixed, will be donated to charity; instead of the highly feared rollback of servers. 415 players were found to be exploiting and all will be removed before the donations are made.

What do you think about Final Fantasy XIV’s housing

Is anybody  wants to know about Final Fantasy XIV’s upcoming player housing system?  MMO Culture has a pretty enlightening video on the subject. The thing is eight minutes long, in fact, and it shows everything from housing styles and house placement to exterior modifications and yard clutter.
Strangely there’s no interior footage, but with any luck we’ll see some of Final Fantasy XIV Gil that in short order.According to a thread on the forums, the small house displayed in the Producer’s Letter cost 850K.
There’s still too little info to leap into assumption, but I stand on this weird realm between incredibly excited and worried as hell about costs. Seems like it’s going to be a system fairly similar to Rift’s Dimensions, which is pretty cool imo.

Diablo 3:Reaper of Souls to PS4

Blizzard is now confirming the existence of Reaper of Souls for PS4, and a playable version of the game will be found at Blizzcon this November. The expansion raises level caps, adds a new act and creates one new character class, the Paladin-like Crusader.

By the time Reaper of Souls is released some time in 2014 (I’d guess spring), Diablo 3 will have been out for quite a while on PC, and at least a fairly decent amount of time on consoles. With that in mind, if the expansion (on PC) is priced $30 the way Blizzard is implying, I have to imagine they’d come up with some sort of package where both the original game and the expansion could be purchased FFXIV Gil for $60 total. That would be a somewhat steep discount on the original, but by the time Reaper of Souls was released, I think it would be both an appropriate price and a good value given how much content players would be getting. Though I feel like I’m one of the only folks still evangelizing about how fun this console port is, so perhaps the game might seem like old news at that point to some.
Reaper of Souls is one of my most anticipated games of 2014, even if it’s just a lowly expansion, and it’s even better news that it’s on the PS4.
