How Can You Keep Going On One Character In PoE?

In Path of Exile, some players said that they started playing PoE at the start of this bestiary league, but every time a character reaches lv, it was hard for them to keep one character. Any tips/builds that can not burning out on a build?

With enough money almost any character can be viable, so I like to play something I know works to make a bunch of money, then try and roll something weird that I think might work – and spend loads of money on it.

Path of Exile

When I manage to hit something that is quite strong that I invented myself, that tends to inspire me to stick with it and push it up past lvl 90 and into endgame maps.

This league it was my poison frost blades/molten strike assassin. Though recently that has jumped into the meta because of a similar build being featured as the build of the week.

That said, my Oni-garoshi frost blades build from last league was the most fun I’ve had with a single build. I played it as a pathfinder, but I’d probably build it as a deadeye or scion this league.

Seconded – I try to do both, usually I start off with a fast clearspeed character (this league – mf windripper), and once I am high enough where dying is frustrating, I respec a bit to a tanky character (abyss item ts/barrage). Now I’m running around without mf, but with 6k hp and ridiculous dps, about to hit lvl 94 and not burned out at all.

You just need to find a build that you really enjoy playing. Till than just try everything, I had the same problem, I ended up with 6 to 8 builds per league all in mediocre state not ready for endgame, and than I found Volatile dead/bodyswap jugg, doing t16 maps for the first time after 5 or 6 leagues

Or set yourself a goal and achieve that using the build you enjoy. Whatever league, I tend to come back to bow characters, no matter how I start out. I just enjoy the playstyle too much – tornado shot/ice shot/LA is insane for clearing, barrage provides good ST, and Blink Arrow is the best movement speed of all (fast, responsive, long range, short cd so that you don’t use just that aka shield charge).

And then it is minmaxing your character – I got a sick +1 shaper quiver, max roll windripper, Farruls Fur and a bunch of 2 socket abyss stuff. Even now, when I don’t have gear to upgrade, I keep playing it to complete 40/40 grind.
